Resonance All Theseus Echoes Locations Guide

There are five Theseus Echoes: find their Axe Chalices in Chapters 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10 to collect the five Pierced Coin Charms and unlock In the Name of My Kin. They are not missable because Chapter Select preserves them, unlike Resonance Points. Each Echo plays a Theseus flashback when Sophia interacts with its Axe Chalice, so look for the statue rather than a normal chest.

What Theseus Echoes are

Theseus Echoes are five special Charms classified as Pierced Coins. They count inside the 30-Charm total for Superstitious and also complete their own trophy or achievement, In the Name of My Kin. That overlap means an Echo pickup contributes to two collection goals at once.

Unlike standard Charms, the Echoes do not come from small chests. Each is attached to an Axe Chalice and triggers an audio memory when you interact with it. If you are looking at a chest or a generic white glint, you are searching for the wrong kind of collectible.

All five are safe to collect through Chapter Select. Use the chapter counters and return only to the section with the missing Echo, then exit to the main menu after the pickup registers. Do not confuse that safety with the Resonance Point rule: points have a separate single-playthrough requirement.

Echo 1: Chapter 5, The Four Symbols

During the objective to find the second symbol, begin in the room with four pedestals and four marked gates. Take the gate marked by the round symbol with three lines, cross the bridge, and stay on the leftmost route. Climb the ladder to the upper area, defeat the enemies there, and interact with the Axe statue for the first Pierced Coin.

This is close to the Chapter 5 optional weapon route, but do not assume every bull-pillar detour is the same collectible. The Echo is the Axe Chalice after the upper left route, while the Greek Sword comes from the separate axe-hatch tomb puzzle. Echo 2: Chapter 6, The Architect

During The Architect objective to follow Daedalus' shortcut, a cutscene places Sophia near a petrified figure by a cliff. Continue into the round room, turn right, and drop down the cliff. Do not enter the door on the right yet; go straight to the door at the far end instead and interact with the Axe Chalice there.

The key is resisting the more obvious right-hand door. It advances the route while the straight door holds the collectible. Once the Echo registers, you can return to the intended route without losing normal progression.

Echo 3: Chapter 7, A Stage of Skulls

In the objective to open one of the doors, solve the relevant mechanism and drop through the hole that opens. Slide below the gate, swing across the next two Grapnel hooks, then jump to the right. The Axe Chalice is beside the right side of a large locked green gate.

This Echo is near the chapter's skull-themed temple route, which makes it easy to focus on the main puzzle and miss the right-hand jump. Take the detour before committing to the next obvious gate. Echo 4: Chapter 9, Echoes of the Past

During the objective to explore Minos' palace, story progress requires breaking a pedestal to reveal light. Soon afterwards, Sophia squeezes through a gap and reaches a balcony. Turn left there and crawl through the opening in the wall to reach the Axe Chalice and the fourth Pierced Coin.

The balcony is the important confirmation point. Follow the story route only far enough to reach it, then look left for the crawlspace rather than continuing along the open balcony. The Echo is off the direct palace route but does not require a separate puzzle.

Echo 5: Chapter 10, Daedalus' Workshop

When you enter Daedalus' Workshop, walk to the far side and find the glimmering Resonance Point on the floor. From that point, turn right toward a mirror hanging from chains. Jump onto the mirror, use the Grapnel point on the wall to drop the weight, then return upstairs to find the newly opened tomb.

Go down into that tomb before interacting with the mirror required for story progress. The fifth Axe Chalice is inside. This is a good example of why identifying the checkpoint between a Resonance Point and an Echo matters: the Echo can be recovered later, but the point still needs to be secured on the forward playthrough.

How to confirm an Echo was counted

An Axe Chalice interaction gives Sophia a Pierced Coin Charm and plays a Theseus memory. Check Sophia's Charm collection after the scene, then confirm the Chapter Select tracker if you are on a cleanup run. The five Echoes also contribute to the complete 30-Charm total, so they should not be treated as an optional lore-only set.

If In the Name of My Kin has not unlocked after five interactions, verify that each was a Chalice rather than a normal chest Charm and compare the chapter list above. Completing a chapter does not automatically collect an Echo; each requires the interaction. A Chapter Select revisit is sufficient for the missing one.

Echoes, Charms, and completion planning

Collect the Echoes during the story when their detours are convenient, but do not restart a late game save solely for one missed Chalice. All five can be recovered with Chapter Select, as can the rest of the normal Charm collection. The collectibles guide has the broader counts and explains how those categories differ from points.

For a Platinum or 100% route, protect the Resonance Point total first, then clean up Echoes, Charms, Artefacts, and Blades through targeted chapter replays.
