Resonance Chapter 11 Walkthrough: Patera

Use this Resonance Chapter 11 walkthrough to realign every lens, shield the crank, open the way, defeat Puppets and Irene, and check all five items.

To realign the lenses in Resonance Chapter 11, let Faro hold the first room's far-right control, then sweep the beam with the other crank. In the second room, push the sliding weight to shield the exposed control before clearing the petrified crank. At the last lens, use the right-hand corridor and Light Concentrate to reach the beam control, clear the balcony, then return to its lens crank.

Patera continues after Chapter 10's Light Concentrate upgrade. Use the landmark table to select your current blocker; the Irene section contains the chapter's combat finale.

Find the room that matches your objective

What you seeWhat to do next

Ash-covered crank and another control exposed to the beamMove the sliding cover before touching the exposed control
Two blocked controls after Faro lifts you upTake the right corridor to its natural light source

Armoured Puppet survives normal sword hitsStagger it, perform a Critical Strike, then concentrate light on its exposed head

First beam room: make Faro hold the far-right control

After descending past the statue, reach the circular balcony and locate both controls on its right side. Interact with the farther-right control, bring the beam toward the balcony, then release it for Faro to take over. Return to the first control and sweep the beam around the room to burn away the petrified blockage.

Keep rotating until the path at the far end is clear. Walk around the balcony to its exit and use the platform lever to descend. If the beam will not stay where you need it, confirm Faro is operating his control before adjusting yours again.

Second beam room: shield the crank, then realign the lens

After the elevator, the first crank is sealed in ash. Farther along the walkway, a second control moves the light but is exposed to its damaging beam. The sliding weight on the track changes the cover position:

  1. Walk beyond the exposed control and find the movable weight on the floor track.
  2. Push it toward the control until the large wall section shields the operating position.
  3. Use the protected beam control to sweep light across the ash covering the first crank.
  4. Return to that cleared crank and turn it fully to orient the lens downward.
  5. Continue through the newly available route and clear the soldier encounter.
Petrified crank: unlock the controls in this order

1 · Cover

  1. Push the weight
  2. Wall shields the beam-control crank

2 · Beam

  1. Use the protected crank
  2. Sweep light across the ash-covered crank

3 · Lens

  1. Return to the cleared crank
  2. Turn fully to point the lens downward

A cleared crank and a realigned lens are separate milestones. If the ash is gone but the objective still says Realign the lens, you need the first crank, not another sweep of the beam. If you take damage at the second control, reposition the cover before trying again.

If the weight is absent: inspect the track beyond the control first. PowerPyx reports a possible missing-weight state and recommends restarting the sub-chapter. Try the latest checkpoint before that longer replay, and remember that replaying an earlier sub-chapter restores its earlier Resonance Point state. This is a reported recovery option, not a fix confirmed in the official October patch notes.

Puppets: finish the exposed head with Light Concentrate

Light the brazier in the lower petrified area. Against an armoured Puppet, build stun with attacks and defensive responses, use the Critical Strike when available to expose its inner corruption, then aim Light Concentrate at the exposed head. Stay within usable light while aiming. Sword hits alone do not complete that finishing sequence.

After the first fights, descend by the Grapnel when the platform breaks. Survive the next encounter and regroup with Faro. Near the large lens, the right-hand lens and its two soldiers mark the Arm Band 5 chest detour; return to the main path afterward.

Last lens: reach the control through the right corridor

After the fight and the climb with Faro, cross to the elevator. Take Bracelet 5 from the chest just right of its control, then stand on the platform so Faro can raise you.

The upper crank is blocked. Follow the corridor toward its end, turn into the right-hand passage, and crouch past the petrified enemies. At the natural pool of light, use Light Concentrate to clear the blocked doorway and control. Sweep the beam from this control to clean the balcony, then backtrack to the original crank and turn it fully to realign the lens.

Avoid creating blue trails near the petrified enemies while moving through the corridor. The light source at its end supplies the power you need; trying to operate the ash-covered balcony crank from the entrance skips that prerequisite.

Open the way beyond the rotating platforms

After descending, clear the next enemies and ash-covered gate. When petrified enemies crowd an exit, draw them away and loop back to the opening. Cross the rotating platforms when each landing is reachable and follow the beam until the next closed lens stops you.

Take the right-hand passage, then find the crawl space on its left wall. In the next area:

  1. Crouch along the right side to the first lantern and light it.
  2. Stay in its light and use Light Concentrate to remove the ash ahead.
  3. Continue along the right, then enter the next left-wall crawl space.
  4. Light the next lantern and clear the blockage toward the stairs.
  5. Go up, light the lantern on the upper ledge, and use concentrated light to repel the creature if it closes in.
  6. Take the zipline to the circular lens, then operate its large lever.

Success: the lens opens and the beam extends into the next section. Return to following the beam, clear the fights on the connected platforms, then use the Grapnel route to rejoin Faro and enter the mines.

Irene: defend through the three health phases

Cross the mine's gap with hanging chains, pass the small camp and continue to the exit. The following encounter starts the Irene fight. Deal with each attack cue before committing to your counterattack. Dodge red attacks unless you equipped the red-melee-parry mastery from Aegean Deflect.

Expect three health phases. After the second depletion, Irene disappears and throws a dagger from the shadows; watch for the yellow attack and parry it. Finish the final phase to complete the chapter. If combat prevents progress, adjust difficulty in Settings; the chapter-completion trophy has no difficulty requirement.

Chapter 11 collectible checks

The normal counter is 3 Artefacts, 2 Charms and 0 Blades. Use these landmarks before advancing:

ItemCheck before leaving
Olden AbacusAfter the early soldier fight and squeeze-through, take the right-hand cliff before the left ladder
Arm Band 5Chest near the optional right-hand lens with two soldiers
Bracelet 5Rear of the room, just right of the elevator control
Burnt MosaicAfter the last lens and descent, burn the growth between the two kilns in the right corner
Weasel FootMine camp, on the ground against the left wall; a point is on the right-hand hammock

The Artefact guide and Charm guide provide the full item lists. Keep Resonance Points on your ongoing save until the next checkpoint; follow the 165-point completion plan before starting chapter cleanup.

Sources and verification

Editorially checked on October 21, 2026 using Gamerpillar's beam demonstrations, its Open the Way route, PowerPyx's chapter checklist, and Muhit Rahman's chapter account for the combat sequence. The room selector, control-dependency schematic and failure checks are this wiki's editorial additions. Verification is a comparison of published routes, not a claim of a fresh gameplay test.
