Resonance Points Guide for Like a Warrior

Secure Like a Warrior by collecting 165 Resonance Points in one playthrough, reaching checkpoints safely and avoiding the Chapter Select reset trap.

Collect 165 of the 200 Resonance Points during one forward playthrough to unlock Like a Warrior. You can miss 35, but Chapter Select cannot add replayed points to a later save. Pick up visible white glints, reach the next checkpoint, and treat a large missed group as a reason to restart the current chapter immediately.

Why Resonance Points are different

Resonance Points are Sophia's skill currency rather than normal collection entries. Each point contributes to the six mastery branches, and buying every required skill costs 165 points. They are found as bright white glints in the environment, with a small number also awarded through combat progress.

The game contains 200 points, so the goal is not a perfect 200/200 run. The 35-point margin gives you room to miss an awkward detour or a hidden corner without losing the trophy. That margin only applies within the same continuing save; it does not turn Chapter Select into a catch-up tool.

The short answer to the Chapter Select trap

Do not replay Chapter 3, collect a point, and expect it to increase the total in a save that is already in Chapter 10. Starting the old chapter restores the point total that existed when you first played it. The newly collected point belongs to that earlier state, so the game does not merge it with the progression you made afterwards.

This rule affects Resonance Points only. Blades, Artefacts, Charms, Theseus Echoes, and their related trophies can be recovered with Chapter Select after the story. Keep the collectibles checklist nearby, but use a separate note for your skill-point target.

The 165-point mastery plan

Sophia has six mastery branches, and each contains the initial skill plus two follow-up purchases. Buying the first icon alone does not complete a branch. The total cost rises as you work through the branches, but completing all six adds up to exactly 165 points.

Mastery branch orderTotal points for that branch
First branch15
Second branch20
Third branch25
Fourth branch30
Fifth branch35
Sixth branch40

Open the Sophia menu and look at the Skills section whenever you want to confirm a purchase. Owned skills display differently from the unbought ones, so verify the two follow-up nodes in every branch before assuming it is finished. The current total is visible in the Artefacts area, at the lower left of that screen.

A safe first-playthrough routine

At the start of each chapter, follow the main objective until the route opens into a room, courtyard, ruin, or side passage. Check the edges of that space for a white glint before triggering the next obvious cutscene, squeeze-through, drop, or boat ride. If an optional path leads to a locked puzzle, solve it when you can do so without losing the active route.

After taking a point, keep moving until the next checkpoint rather than quitting or treating the pickup as permanently banked. Dying before a checkpoint can return you to a state where the point has to be collected again. This is especially important around combat arenas, spikes, chase scenes, and long puzzle rooms with no immediate save.

When to restart instead of pushing onward

There is no need to restart because you missed one or two points; the 35-point buffer exists for exactly that situation. A restart becomes sensible when a chapter has several missed glints and you can still remember their route. Waiting until the ending transforms a small correction into a much larger decision because Chapter Select will not repair the total.

Make the decision using the overall trend, not panic. If you keep exploring optional paths and your total is comfortably progressing, continue the campaign. If you knowingly skipped ten or more points in one chapter, restart that chapter before opening many later checkpoints.

Common mistakes that lose the trophy

The most common error is treating points like Charms or Artefacts and postponing them for a post-story sweep. Another is collecting a point, dying shortly afterward, and not noticing that the checkpoint reload removed it. A third is buying only the first skill in a mastery branch, then wondering why the trophy does not unlock at a high point total.

Avoid all three by keeping one simple rule: collect points on the main save, reach a checkpoint, and fully buy every branch. The 200-point maximum is not required, and the game does not demand perfection. It demands that the 165 points needed for the skills exist together in one continuing progression state.

Chapter 4 and early point discipline

Chapter 4, From Hell It Rose, is a useful early test of this habit because its Trial mixes puzzle rooms, optional paths, combat, and several changes of objective. Before moving through a door that clearly advances the Trial, look behind the puzzle solution and along the route that was just opened. The Chapter 4 walkthrough and First Trial puzzle guide explain the major gates without revealing later chapters.

Do not wait for a dedicated Chapter Select counter, because the mode does not provide one for Resonance Points. Check the Artefacts screen between chapters instead. The number will not tell you every missed location, but it will tell you whether you still have a comfortable path to 165.

What to do once you reach 165

When every mastery branch is fully purchased, Like a Warrior is secured. You can still collect remaining points for a full total, but they are no longer necessary for the trophy or achievement. At that point, switch your completion attention to Blades, Artefacts, Charms, Theseus Echoes, and combat objectives that Chapter Select can clean up safely.

Use the trophy roadmap to order that cleanup and the collectibles guide for ordinary chapter counters. Resonance Point behaviour and the 165-point skill requirement were reviewed against the launch build on September 10, 2026; revisit this guide after any patch that changes progression or Chapter Select rules.
